Does your computer monitor or TV secretly flicker?

Flicker affects all of us and can cause headaches, eye fatigue, dizziness, and higher levels of cortisol. Even if we can't perceive it our eyes are constantly adjusting to this type of flicker from screens, LED lighting, fluorescent lighting, etc.

Artificial light is about the spectrum and the flicker frequency. It's important to match the outdoor lighting environment with your indoor lighting environment. One thing that helps immensely at night is wearing blue blocking glasses like these:
