Using our reserves responsibly to safeguard Singapore's interests

As a small country with no natural resources, Singapore needs a robust set of rules to safeguard and manage the use of reserves.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat highlighted in his Budget 2020 Round-Up Speech on 28 February 2020 in parliament that the Government needs to continue to keep the discipline, and keep the faith and promise to future generations of Singaporeans.
