The decision came a day after he was seen coughing and blowing his nose after shaking hands with people attending his Ash Wednesday mass in Vatican City.  The Vatican has not yet commented on what exactly the Pope has come down with, but his illness comes amid an outbreak of the coronavirus in Italy, which has claimed the lives of 12 people and sickened more than 650 others.  In Rome, there have been three confirmed cases, though all of those patients have since recovered. Worldwide, the virus has affected nearly 84,000 people and killed 2,867.  Francis has mostly enjoyed good health in recent years. He lost part of his lung as a young man due to a respiratory illness and suffers from sciatica — which can often make walking a challenge. With News Wire Services Recommended on NY Daily News
