In this video, I share with you 9 fashion trends/items that I really hope to buy this year! I tell you why I love them so much and how I intend to style them. To be honest, I probably won't end up buying all of the things on my wardrobe wishlist, but I will end up getting a few.
👉WHY IS A WARDROBE WISHLIST IMPORTANT?? 👈
I probably should have spoken about this more clearly in the video, but oh well, I will mention it here. I think a wardrobe wishlist is important to make a few times a year so that we actually spend time thinking about what fashion trends/pieces we are willing to spend our hard-earned money on. Making quick decisions under pressure, or buying to fill a hole (like retail therapy), can be really dangerous for our bank accounts, and not a good habit to get into. Making a plan (ie: a wardrobe wishlist) can help you prepare, save up and make sure you are buying items that you will love and that will incorporate into your wardrobe with ease.
Obviously, the list can be amended at any time and we might end up getting things that aren't on the list. But at least there is a foundation for the plan, that is the main goal.
My number one priority fashion trend that I cannot wait to buy is a plaid blazer! I have created a bank account now called "plaid blazer" and I am depositing $20 a week into it. It's so simple. By the time autumn/winter come around, I will have enough + more for whatever blazer I want!

Fashion trends can be loved and hated by so many! I definitely never expect you to always love all the fashion trends I talk about here on my channel, however, being open to new ideas is really important. When out shopping next, try on something you might not usually grab and see what you think. You can't expect to love everything, but you never know, you might just find a new style that really suits you. I find that it's very hard to know what something is going to look at until you see it on. So don't judge a book by its cover (ie: don't judge an item on the rack!!)
