Department of telecommunications India has launched a new website with which you can report and block your stolen smartphone, with this method the stolen or lost device gets blacklisted. This website also has an option for unblocking a blacklisted device this is very important as if you report your device to the authorities and if they blacklist your device, you should be able to use it once you get it back.  in this video will also show you how you can recognise a blacklisted or stolen device before you purchase an used smart phone.
