How to Develop Your Block - eBaTT tutorial

How to Develop Your Block - eBaTT tutorial eBaTT - Tutorial
The main focus is on the backhand

Tip 1
Block in one zone (regular location) focus on the backhand side, look to have a good distance from the table. By going to the same location you can learn how to feel the ball, adjust your body position and stance. In time you will develop this stroke and feel comfortable doing this stroke.

Tip 2
Blocking while moving, to really elevate your block it's important to implement all the key fundamentals state in Tip 1 but put them into play while in motion. and the best way is to do exercises that include physical movement, the aim is to stay as fluent in motion.

Tip 3
irregular blocking, this is where you don't know where the ball is going and you learn in time to read your opponent's body language, predict possible locations where the ball will come and develop your recovery position.

The Swedes enhanced their games back in the '80s-'90s by developing a strong blocking game. And that enabled them to break the Chinese supremacy for a little while.
