It's not about the Money | How much is Enough?

It's not about the Money | How much is Enough? How much money is enough? - Just a little more than you have today?

We all realize at some point in time that it is hard to quantify one's needs when it comes to Money.

If you listen to any finance coach or an advisor and even to your parents - the basic tenents are around spending less, save more, invest wisely.

This mantra is well known and it's very effective then why does few of us get it right and for most of us puri life nikal jaani hai in trying to earn more, trying to spend more, few save more and trying to invest more because, in reality, we do understand how much is enough,

I was reading a book this weekend called 'Its not about the Money' by Mr. Brent Kessel and it really gives good insights to discover how much is enough and mainly and how do you find peace of mind in any financial situation.

So this video is not really that book review but of course, the credit goes to the author since the title and theme of the video are from the book.

So if it is not about the money, what it is about and why it is important to know that.

If you are just starting your investing journey or even doing it for a couple of years, the important step is to take a step back and really try to find more about you.

Is book me Mr Kessel me emphasize Kiya hai ki every one has their core story in your unconscious mind that's running your entire money show and therefore it is so critical that you know and reflect on your money personality- he classified them as 'The Savers',, The Guardian, 'The empire builders', 'The caretaker', 'The Idealist', The Innocent types, the Stars or the 'Pleasure Seekers'.

Most of us will fall in more than one types - The saver wants to save more, the pleasure seeker wants to buy enjoyable new things, the caretaker wants to help others.

In all your life, You have probably made resolutions about spending less, saving more, eating better, hitting the gym, travelling more,, paying off your loans - most of the times these resolutions do not work because they are made in conscious mind and the author emphasizes that the most of the power resides in the unconscious mind..

No empire builder thinks his or her business is big enough, no pleasure seeker thinks he or she is getting enough pleasure, no saver has saved enough and the journey continues as we don't really take a break to reflect on 'How Much'?
