Triple Talaq bill passed, Women hail historic passage | News Watch

On News Watch tonight, The government has outlawed Triple Talaq after 72 years of independence. The Rajya Sabha today passed the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019 in a 99-84 vote. The Bill has already been passed by the Lok Sabha. It will now be sent to President Ram Nath Kovind for obtaining his assent, following which the same will become a law and is notified duly. Watch the video for more details.
