We took a morning road trip to Our trip to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead National Recreational Area while we were in Las Vegas. Two things I did not know: Hoover Dam is part of the National Parks system, and it’s only about 25 minutes east of the Las Vegas strip. The views inside the canyon and from the top of the Dam is breathtaking!
