Victorian govt putting in place contingiencies for potential coronavirus

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has warned it is likely schools will have to close and sporting events will be cancelled if the coronavirus outbreak continues its spreads across the state.

There are now 18 cases in Victoria including three new cases confirmed on Monday.

Mr Andrews said it's likely the state will have to take "extreme measures" to combat the virus.
