Top Veggies to Plant in March March is here! And despite it still being snowy here in my zone 5 garden, I have seeds to start in March! I hope this list of top veggies to plant in March will help you get your garden growing for the year.

Beginning of March:
Nightshades, such as Tomatoes, Eggplants, Sweet Peppers and Hot Peppers
Onions and leeks from seed

Mid March:
Brassicas such as Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, and Brussel Sprouts
Slow growing herbs such as Parsley and Basil

Mid to End of March:
Greens such as Kale, Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Bok Choy, ect
