DIY Faux Window

DIY Faux Window Hi Everyone!

Today we’re solving the no window dilemma by painting one ourselves! This video will be part time lapse landscape painting and part DIY tutorial for assembling a faux window for my interior office which has no windows for me to look out of.

I found the faux window frame in the impulse section at Target. I think it’s meant to just hang by itself as wall decor, but we’re going to take it a step farther and make it look like an actual window.

Once the painting was dry. (Which took forever btw). I attached it to the back of the frame by gluing down some elastic I had left over from my DIY Bulletin Board. Video is here:
(If you’re interested.)

Then slide the picture in and mount on the wall. Easy peasy!

Frame: I couldn’t find one online for a reasonable price. I think I paid $7 for mine so I don’t want to link a $30 one.

Thanks for watching!
