Charlotte's Wish to go to surfing in Hawaii - Make-A-Wish Southern Florida

Charlotte's Wish to go to surfing in Hawaii - Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Outdoor-loving, spunky Charlotte never misses a chance to be outside doing favorite activities like swimming. Eager to add surfing to her list of fun activities, her wish to learn how to surf in Hawaii was a match made in heaven. At Charlotte’s wish reveal at Panther Run Elementary School, who fundraised the money to make Charlotte’s wish come true, Charlotte said, “I wasn’t surprised, I was just thankful and happy.” Learning to surf unites her athletic, adventurous, and fighting spirit.

Described as “loving to take on new challenges,” learning to surf in the crashing pacific waves was something that Charlotte was very eager to take on. Charlotte’s mom even said that Charlotte “sees Hawaii as the quintessential place to learn how to surf.”

Goggles secured, pink and blue surf suit on, and with a glorious smile on her face; Charlotte is ready to take on the Hawaiian waves. This new, exciting experience was exactly what Charlotte needed to keep that feisty, fighting spirit going.
