Budget RUS 2020 – Raising Revenues to meet Expenditures

We need to ensure that we have enough resources to meet Singapore’s recurrent needs. Raising taxes in a timely manner allows each generation to pay for its own spending. The Government will continue to raise revenue in a progressive and fair manner.
