Transparency International released its annual global Corruption Perception Index that tracks perceptions of corruption in 180 countries.
Sub-Saharan Africa consistently ranks low, meaning it has the most incidents of corruption. In 2019, Somalia and South Sudan where found to be the most corrupt of the countries examined.
