The 2020 Snooker Shoot Out (also known as the 2020 BetVictor Snooker Shoot Out due to sponsorship) is a
professional snooker tournament taking place from 20–23 February 2020 at the Watford Colosseum in Watford, England.
It is the 13th ranking event of the 2019–20 snooker season.
The Shoot Out is played under a variation of the standard rules of snooker,
with shots being timed, and matches played as a single frame lasting a maximum of 10 minutes.
The event is the third of four events sponsored by BetVictor making up the European Series.
It is the 11th edition of the Snooker Shoot Out, the first being held as a one-off event in 1990,
then taking place annually since 2011.
The defending champion is Thailand's Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, who won the 2019 Snooker Shoot Out,
defeating England's Michael Holt in the final.
