Severe Weather Update: Tropical Cyclone Uesi west of New Caledonia, 12 February 2020 Severe Weather Update: Tropical Cyclone Uesi west of New Caledonia. Video current at 1 pm AEST Wednesday 12 February 2020.

The system is approximately 1000 km offshore of the Australian mainland in Fiji Meteorological Services' area of responsibility, but is expected to move into the Australian area as a weak tropical cyclone or tropical low within the next 48 hours. Uesi has the potential to bring large waves to parts of southeast Qld and northeast NSW from Thursday.
