Public 'has had enough' of disruptive Extinction Rebellion protests

Public 'has had enough' of disruptive Extinction Rebellion protests Victorian Liberal MP David Southwick says he has tried to introduce “move on laws” into the Victorian Parliament to “ensure that we can get our city moving again” in the face of disruptive Extinction Rebellion protests.

On Wednesday, Victoria suspended parliament after Extinction Rebellion protests occurred in front of Victorian Parliament House including some protesters gluing themselves to the street.

Mr Southwick told Sky News host Peter Gleeson these protesters need to “do it in public places without inconveniencing everyone else” because the Victorian public “has had enough”.
