For any copyright, please send me a message. Royal expert Russell Myers described the Duke of York's decision to throw his 60th birthday party at the Royal Lodge in Windsor as "staggering". Mr Myers also revealed that Prince Andrew is struggling to get guests to attend his birthday party despite the "big show" he is keen to host. Mr Myers told ITV’s Lorraine: “Not only did the Queen cancel his birthday but I hear they are struggling to get guests to his little birthday party today. “This is what’s so staggering. You would think he would just take a backseat and have a private dinner at your house. “But no he’s still keen to have the big show at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. “Fergie was desperately trying to send out the invitations. “Even the councils around the country would normally fly flags on Government buildings for some of the Queen’s children’s birthdays. “But lots of them have said they’re not going to fly it this year at all because of the absolute scandal and furore with his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein." He continued: “It’s been an absolute car crash for the whole family. “He’s denied all the allegations but still the FBI want to talk to him in the states. “This probably would have been one year to stay away from the birthday party.” The Royal Family's social media accounts said: "On this day in 1960, Prince Andrew was born at Buckingham Palace, the first child born to a reigning monarch for 103 years. “Happy Birthday to The Duke of York." Last month Lisa Bloom, the attorney representing five of the Jeffrey Epstein victims, stated that if Prince Andrew has "truly done nothing wrong" he must speak to the FBI in order to help the alleged victims get justice. Trending Prince Andrew denies all allegations of wrongdoing and says that he never saw any suspicious activity at the homes of Jeffrey Epstein. Ms Bloom made the comments during an interview with the BBC's Emily Maitlis. Ms Bloom said: "I am glad that Geoffrey Berman has gone public to try to embarrass Prince Andrew who made one statement and behind closed doors is doing something very different. "The five Epstein victims who I represent are outraged and disappointed at Prince Andrew’s behaviour."
