The U.S. Department of Education estimates that six percent of public school students in k-12 are gifted learners. Here at Harmony, we support the special needs of these gifted learners by providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Our mission at Harmony is to provide these gifted students with a program that meets their unique social, emotional, and intellectual needs through the collaboration of students, educators, parents, and community leaders by ensuring opportunities for maximum growth and development for lifelong success.
Our program focuses on skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication as evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances that reflect our students individuality and creativity, all the while focusing on our foundation in STEM education for all our students.
Our campuses offer a wide variety of service designs for gifted learners from pull-out services, independent study, honors sections, summer camps, and advanced academic courses.
Along with numerous service designs, schools also provide opportunities for students to explore their areas of interest by offering challenging extracurricular activities such as UIL, MathCounts, I-Sweep, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Destination Imagination, and Robotics.
