Countries scramble to evacuate their citizens from Wuhan Evacuation efforts by countries wanting to bring their citizens home from Wuhan are being stepped up. Hundreds of Australians -- most of them dual nationals -- are waiting to be flown home, as the details are being finalised. Countries with many citizens in Wuhan include Bangladesh and India. Meanwhile, Japan has already flown more than 550 people home. South Korea's first repatriation flight arrived home on Jan 31, and it is is working to evacuate 350 more citizens overnight.
