Dor said part of dying well is cleaning up unfinished business. There are few projects she never completed, and bringing the perspectives of family narratives and Adverse Childhood Experiences into her non-profit -- The Suppers Programs -- was one of those few. OK, this video isn't about dying, but it is part of the legacy that she so dearly wanted to share and never did. In this interview educator and therapist George Scott describes the enormous impact of adverse childhood experiences on the health, mental health, educability and addictions risk for people who had high ACE scores for home life prior to the age of 18. Then Dor relates ACEs to our relationships with food and the human need to seek comfort.
