Adult grey wolf often weigh less than 54kg, while male Tibetan mastiff can weigh from 55-90 kg . Some huge male Tibetan mastiff can weigh up to 115 kg , this this much bigger than the largest gray wolf who weigh about 80kg !
Jaws of Tibetan mastiff is 1,5 times stronger than jaw of gray wolf. Its body is covered in a very long and thick double coat, so the body of Tibetan mastiff is protected much better than a wolf in a real battle .

Tibetan mastiff is a true warrior, it is raised in the Tibet to against many ferocious wild animals , like : bear, wolf, tiger and leopard .

Many Tibetan mastiff dogs have been reported of killing a pack of wolves.
