I did phacoemulsification with vitrectomy and intravitreal Avastin injection a 56 yo woman who was blind for over 5 years with bilateral complicated cataract. Vision in both eyes was HM, IOP 15-18mmHg. B-scan was unremarkable. On medication for hypertension, no history of diabetes. VA improved to CF 3 meter.
