Stressed over his financial issues and the threats he has been receiving, Beri (Kiko Estrada) struggles against temptation when he sees his mother’s jewelry box. After being scammed by a client, Azon (Glenda Garcia) tries to make up for the lost item through a game at the casino. Meanwhile, Luz (Sylvia Sanchez) manages to do well in selling jewelry and is delighted to have an appointment with an important potential buyer. Her bliss, however, gets cut short upon discovering bad news.
Upon learning that she is being suspected of stealing Luz's (Sylvia Sanchez) missing jewelry, Azon (Glenda Garcia) makes efforts to absolve herself on the matter. Meanwhile, Fernan (Joey Marquez) discovers Beri's (Kiko Estrada) financial woes, causing him and Luz to doubt their son. Confronting their family members head on, the couple is shaken to the core when they see the valuable item inside the bag of one of their children. As anger and disappointment envelops her, Luz resorts to a drastic punishment for the culprit.
