This is the longplay of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse ”, an action platform game developed by SEGA itself and released in November 1990 for Mega Drive and 1991 for the Master System, giving rise to the“ Illusion ”series which featured several games starring Mickey. In this game the player takes control of Mickey Mouse, who goes to Castle of Illusion to save Minnie from a witch named Mizrabel, who wants to steal his youth. To rescue Minnie, Mickey must collect 7 jewels in the Castle to face Mizrabel.

In this version of Mega Drive, you can defeat enemies by jumping on them as well as throwing items (which may be apples, balls or candles depending on the level). The bosses are also different between the Mega Drive version and the Master System version.

Each level ends in a boss battle against Mizrabel's henchmen where Mickey can win one of 7 jewels. It's a very fun game that marked the beginning of the 90's a lot!
