Valtteri Bottas thought he had room to overtake Romain Grosjean

Valtteri Bottas thought he had room to overtake Romain Grosjean Valtteri Bottas has been given a reprimand for his collision with Romain Grosjean during second practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver dived down the inside of the Haas at Turn 11 believing Grosjean had seen him coming, but the Frenchman took the corner as normal and the pair made contact.

Grosjean's Haas sustained heavy floor damage whilst Bottas required a new front-wing. The session was red flagged as a result of the debris littering the track.
