Mahindra showcased a lot of concepts at the 2018 Auto Expo and lot of these concepts are yet to make it to production. While Mahindra has confirmed that some of these will make it to production, the fate of the rest is unknown. In the end, these vehicles just ended up being concepts that wowed people at the show but didn’t do much after that. Mahindra Udo
A tricycle with two wheels in the front, the Udo was touted as a personal mobility solution that would be versatile like a motorcycle, but still, have a protective shell around the passenger like a car.
Mahindra Atom
The Atom was much like the Udo, a personal mobility solution. It was similar to a car due to the fact that it had four wheels. However, the Atom’s small size made it a great fit for last-mile connectivity.
Mahindra e2O NXT
Mahindra planned to make the e2O feel a little more premium by styling it more aggressively and making giving the rear seat a division. With the advent of new electric vehicles in the industry, the e2O became outdated and we never got to see it on the showroom floors, with the revised styling.
Mahindra e-KUV
This is the only concept from the 2018 Auto Expo that Mahindra has assured us will make it to production. When that happens still remains a question with no date set in stone for the e-KUV to be launched in India.
Mahindra Stinger
This was the funkiest of the lot as Mahindra converted a TUV300 into a kind of convertible cum pickup truck. Of all the concepts on the list, this is the one we wished made it to production.
