This video covers everything you need to develop your kicks for Taekwon-Do ITF & other Martial Arts. Thankfully kicking is a skill, which means anybody can improve on where they are at now. We will give you all the tips, exercises and concepts required to do so.
Everything here is covered including flexibility 3.43 both in dynamic and static flexibility and using passive and active ranges. The best time to use each type of stretching in your training. Tips to improve the knee height for your chambers, posture and overall kicking control and ability.
We then cover the strength 15.40 and mobility required to control these ranges to have better control over our muscles to use this flexibility more effectively. In particular we will focus on common areas which are generally weak such as the core, obliques, glutes and abductors, which hold people back when the are looking for those higher kicks in their Martial Arts training.
Finally the video demonstrates numerous effective kicking exercises 19.40 which I use myself and with my students to build control, strength, flexibility, balance, speed all combined for the perfect TKD kicks.
