This is one of my complete before and after house flip videos that shows what the house looked like when we bought it and after we fixed it up as well. This was a flip we could have done much more too but decided to keep it relatively easy. We still spent quite a bit of money on the remodel and made a decent profit, but I would have loved to make more! I also bought this flip without seeing the interior which was not the smartest thing but it worked out okay. I have been working on buying houses with higher margins lately because we have seen prices steady out or even decrease slightly. A few of our recent flips sold for less money than we had anticipated.
This flip we bought for $213,000 even though I say $212,000 a few times in the video and we sold it for $304,900. I go over the numbers at the end of the video with all the repairs, carrying costs, financing costs, and selling costs as well. Something the house flipping shows will not go over!
We decided not to remodel the kitchen or baths on this house even though they were mediocre. We could have spent much more money than we did on the house but I think we made the right choice since we were already close tot he top of the market in this neighborhood at over $300,000.
