AGP demands protection of Assamese language; If needed, Article 345 must be amended, says Atul Bora

BJP's ally in Assam, the AGP has demanded that the government must take strong steps in safeguarding the Assamese language while maintaining that the indigenous people are apprehensive over the issue.
Talking to newspersons, AGP president Atul Bora said that if needed provisions must be made to amend the Article 345 of the Constitution for protection of the Assamese language.
