Kyle Brier is a strength coach out of Nashua, NH and he has a gym called Veritas Performance Training. I have been training with him for a few months while I was living in Boston and his training methods were fundamental for my knee injury rehab as well as my strength training for BJJ. //

There are many theories when it comes to working out to supplement you jiu jitsu. One thing is certain, strength is key. Kyle specializes in strength training and he uses his methods along a wide variety of sports. From track and field athletes to fighters he uses his knowledge in ways that will be most effective for each sport. In this video he shows 3 exercises that are easy and effective for jiu jitsu. They can be done at any commercial gym, it doesn't take much equipment or expertise to execute them and they will help you activate muscles that will be very beneficial on the mats. Kyle also goes through some concepts on how to more effectively complete the exercises. //
