$1,799 Norco Fluid FS 3 Bike Review - Close, but Needs Better Brakes

$1,799 Norco Fluid FS 3 Bike Review - Close, but Needs Better Brakes Learn about our experience riding the affordable Norco Fluid FS 3 trail bike. At only $1,799, the Fluid FS3 is an introductory MTB for those willing to get out on the trails. While the frame and tires are a great baseline for the Fluid FS 3, the Tektro brakes and Suntour fork fell short of our expectations. Last year, we really enjoyed the more expensive Fluid FS 1 ($2,799) and had hopes for the Fluid FS 3. With better brakes, it could be a solid contender.

Norco Fluid FS 3 Bike Highlights
- Great entry-level price point
- High-volume, grippy 2.6-inch wide Goodyear tires provide great traction and smooth out the trail
-Balanced geometry and riding position
- SR Suntour fork performance was sub-par and needed servicing after just two rides
- Tektro HD-M275 brakes were very poor performers
- Purchased through Norco authorized dealers so having the support of a shop will be handy.
