What Did I Get Myself Into? || Ship Lap For The She Shed We are the family who LOVES a Project! With the Chicken Coop Remodel still underway, I decided to tack on another project. But this one is special! Its my wife's Anniversary gift!
I found a steal of a deal on 12 inch wide shiplap and knew the perfect place for it was in our barn. Courtney was going to love it! Of course that also meant I had another project to do. At least this project was one I put on the list and not my wife!
As soon as we started the project, I realized I had never finished doing the electrical in the barn. And that is where we started. We got two separate lines run, one for the kidding heat lamps, and one for the outlets and exhaust fan. We still have one more line to run, but that wouldn't interfere with the shiplap, so we can wait on that one for now.
Once the electrical was up, we started on the shiplap. I worked feverishly through the day so that I could all of the main wall complete for Courtney! And man, did it ever look amazing! She didn't know she wanted it until it was up and now she can't imagine not having it there. It really makes things pop and looks beautiful!
