ଯଦି କେହି basic tense ଶିଖିଥାଏ ଏବଂ ସେ advanced level English language ଶୁଣେ ତେବେ ସେ କିଛି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ confuse ହୋଇଯିବେ | ସେହି confusion ଦୂର କରିବାପାଇଁ ଏହି topic ଟି useful ହେବ |

2. Have been to or gone to a place

ପ୍ରଥମେ ଏ sentence ସବୁକୁ ଦେଖ

a. Have you ever been to London?
b. I don't see him in office. Has he gone to London?
c. I have been to the USA.

Have/has been to a place - ଗୋଟେ ଜାଗାକୁ ଯାଇକି ସେଠୁ ଫେରି ଆସିଛି |
Gone to a place - ଗୋଟେ ଜାଗାକୁ ଯାଇଛି କିନ୍ତୁ ସେଠୁ ଫେରି ନାହିଁ

a. ଏଠାରେ ଯାହାକୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ପଚରାଯାଉଛି ସେ ଲୋକ ଏବେ London ରେ ନାହିଁ | ତେଣୁ ଏଠାରେ ପଚରାଯାଉଛି ଯେ 'ତୁମେ କେବେ London ଯାଇକି ଆସିଛନ୍ତି କି?'
b. ଏଠାରେ ଯାହା ବିଷୟରେ କୁହାଯାଇଛି ସେ ସେଯାଗାରେ ନାହାନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସେ London ଯାଇଥାଇପାରନ୍ତି ଆଶା କରି କୁହାଯାଇଛି ଯେ 'ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ office ରେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ପାଉନାହିଁ | ସେ London ଯାଇଛନ୍ତିକି? '
c. ଏ sentence ରେ ମୁଁ ଏବେ USA ରେ ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ କହୁଛି ଯେ 'ମୁଁ USA ଯାଇକିଆସିଅଛି |'
