Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel has made an appeal to people of Manipur not to boycott the Sangai Festival. Addressing the media in Imphal, Patel said it is a occasion that highlights the rich culture and heritage of Manipur and should not be affected by anything.
Coming to the issue of CAB, Patel said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already given his assurances on issues like the CAB and the Naga peace deal.
