Moderator Bob Liff and panel of experts discuss the upcoming US Census and its implications for political representation and economic resources in New York. Are New York City and State doing enough to ensure that their citizens are counted in this critical decennial activity, which is mandated by the US Constitution? Will the 2020 Census accurately account for undocumented New Yorkers and other citizens who may feel reluctant to participate in this important civic activity? What will happen to New York's representation in Congress if the citizens of this state are undercounted? What will happen to essential public resources that New Yorkers continue to rely on in order to take care of themselves and their families?
