Let’s Play Barbie Pet Rescue #03: It’s Always Time to Play

Let’s Play Barbie Pet Rescue #03: It’s Always Time to Play Whether it’s a wild animal or a pet, play is something that’s very important in their lives. What constitutes play varies wildly from species to species, let alone the individual animals within each species, but not so to Barbie. Such is her power, she can bring joy to all animals through three simple games, most of which don’t even involve the animal in question that’s being cheered up. I’ll say one thing for Barbies: she gets results and she gets them quickly, perhaps too quickly.

If there’s one thing I would’ve liked there to be in this game, it’s a difficulty slider. It would be nice for the game to be made more difficult in some manner to provide extra challenge and more re playability. The travel minigames could be made longer, have more obstacles in random places and provide you with less chances to mess up. The animals could need more attention and have their health and happiness degrade quicker and the three main minigames could be made more difficult in a variety of ways. Their decision not to do this is understandable considering who they were marketing this game to, but I always lament the lack of difficulty options even in games like this.
