Car Bomb Kills at Least 18 in Syria's al-Bab, Controlled by Turkey ▶️ Fire and smoke is seen rising from a car bomb explosion that shook the Syrian town of al-Bab, Saturday, November 16.

👉 The attack occurred in northeast Syria, in an area controlled by Turkish-backed opposition fighters.

The blast killed 18 people, and wounded several others, Syrian opposition activists and Turkey's Defense Ministry said.

Northern Syria has been hit by several explosions over the past month since Turkey began a military operation against Kurdish fighters in the wake of President Donald Trump's decision to pull the bulk of American troops out of northern Syria.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack.
