When life throws you lemons, there's an old saying that one ought to make lemonade. But what about when life throws you one lemon... and a lime... and then even tosses in a kiwi or kumquat or something.
What sort of tasty concoction is one supposed to make out of these varying flavors?
Such is the dilemma that continued to puzzle Amy Roloff.

This is a roundabout way of explaining that the Little People, Big World matriarch has seen her fair share of ups and downs of late.
Those who follow her Instagram posts or have a Google Alert set for Amy are likely aware of what we mean.
She got engaged to Chris Marek this fall, only for her mother to pass away just several days later.
As she's been dealing with the conflicting emotions of these gigantic life events, Amy has also been preparing to become a grandmother again... two times over.
Both daughter-in-laws Tori and Audrey are expecting babies in the next two months.

How is Amy handling all of these developments?
Not to well, she now admits.
"A lot has happened in the last almost 3 months in my world. Whew! Many different emotions from happy and elated to sad and stressful." Roloff wrote as a recent caption to the photo immediately above, adding:
"From my birthday, to getting engaged and going to be a grandma very soon again to my Mom passing away, her memorial service in Michigan, and the length of time, much longer than thought, it’s taking to move out of the farm house to dealing with contractors in a new house."

That's right, we forgot!
Amy also just bought a new house!
'I must admit I haven’t handled the collision of all these wonderful and sad emotions and life moments all at once as gracefully as I had hoped or wanted," Amy confesses here, detailing how she's turning more and more to her religion these days:
"That’s where faith and grace showed up for me because I let it."

It's totally understandable, right?
This is all so much for one person to handle at once.
"It was a lot of stuff to handle for me and I’m realizing I really don’t handle stress as well as I had thought," continued the beloved TLC personality.
"I’ve learned to give myself a little more grace which allowed me to look at a new day with a better attitude and see how much I have to be grateful and thankful for and still do."

With that, Amy listed all the amazing things in her life these days:
"I’m engaged to a wonderful awesome guy, I’m a grandma, I have a little time to get to take to move into a new house.
"I miss my Mom a lot but the abundant memories I have of her will always be with me and those memories will help me continue to try and be my best each day."
That's the ideal way to look at such a tragedy, don't you agree?

In conclusion, Amy writes:
Faith, hope, grace and love have been what has lifted me up all my life, and did during these last few months with all of these mixed emotions and life moments.
November... with Thanksgiving coming up it’s a month that reminds me how much I have to be thankful for, when life is going amazingly wonderful, just blah or stressful.
I still have a lot to be thankful for.
