Click here for notes ( The Lord tells Moses and Aaron to tell the Children of Israel to start a new calendar, and on the 10 day of the month take a lamb and watch it for 4 days and kill it. Roast and eat the lamb or goat whole, take the blood and post it on the sides and top of the door post, eat it with your cloths on and your staff in your hand, this night you will be thrust out by Pharaoh. God is about to deliver them out of Egypt, they were to start a feast to take place each year on the same day to commemorate the Passover. When the LORD see the blood on the door post He will passover their house from the death angel.
