On Saturday, October 26, 2019, BJ Edwards of the Natural Family Foundation had me on his radio show to ask me some questions about the #SaveJames trial. In this fourth part, BJ and I talked a little bit about "the best interest of the child," which is often asserted in courts. The best interest of the child is AN OPINION, often asserted by someone whose opinions you would question just by looking at them or listening to them--and something that cannot be proved. Yet, as I heard on Friday, October 18, 2019, in the 255th District Court, Judge Kim Cooks, it provides the judge the ability to say, "the court renders judgment . . ." ON WHAT? ON AN UNPROVEN OPINION? I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A COURT OF LAW.
The same thing is true with "findings of facts and conclusions of law." Opinions are not facts. Hearsay is not a fact. A judge can list 120 "findings of fact," without very few REAL facts listed at all.
We MUST change the way these supposed courts of law operate. These courts are sometimes worse than the old wild, wild, West, with judges acting more like sheriffs receiving kickbacks from attorneys who have contributed to their election campaigns. Corruption breeds corruption. No matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, a pig is still a pig.
These rogue courts, aided by family courts largely written by lawyers for lawyers, are causing IMMENSE DESTRUCTION in our families, to include children, brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and society itself.
The judiciary may be society's LAST non-violent means of resistance. If Governor Abbott wants to law and order and seek the welfare of the society, he should call for an IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION of the corruption that permeates our judicial system.
