Camila Cabello finally addresses her relationship with Shawn Mendes... kind of. She told Elle, “I don't know; people can say whatever they want to say. They can speculate, but at the same time, we are going to live our own lives, enjoy it, and fall for each other like nobody is watching. That is how I want to live .” The only time she would actually talk about Shawn is when she was asked what it was like working with him and she was quick to use the L word in that context. In the interview we also learned their song “Senorita” took a long time to make. Camila was on tour with Taylor Swift when Shawn called her with the idea. She initially turned it down, but then contacted him a few months later saying she wanted to do it, but then… he didn’t want to do it anymore. It went back and forth like that for eight months before the two finally made it into the studio to rework and record the song. OMG could you imagine if ""Senorita"" was never made?!
