Dennis police respond to emergency vet hospital after dog somehow ingests cocaine... SOUTH DENNIS – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, at about 11:15 P.M. last evening, Dennis Police Officers responded to the Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists – a 24-hour emergency hospital for pets, located at 79 Theophilis Smith Rd. – for a report of them having a dog that had somehow ingested cocaine.
According to the call audio, the female owner and another male may have been still in the hospital's parking lot, possibly engaged in drug activity.
According to sources, the female owner and male had left the parking lot prior to the arrival of Dennis Police units.
The dog's condition was unknown at the time of this report and there was no further information regarding the status of the investigation... [DEVELOPING]
