Is There Too Much Music in 2019?

We live in a spoiled age where we have access to hundreds of thousands of bands, musicians and artists. A time where the brick and mortar music store appears on its way out. But with all this music, are we finding more gems and exploration of sound, or just simply much of the same thing? Are we at a tipping point? Is there too much music?
