What Is Grace Period In Health Insurance ? Grace period is the time that you get to make the premium payment for you insurance plan even after you due date has passed.
As per regulations, insurance companies will have to offer a 15 days grace period for payment of health insurance renewal payments. Some companies will offer you a grace period of 30 days also. Grace period refers to the number of days after your renewal premium payment date. After the grace period, the insurance company can refuse to renew your policy even if you are willing to make the payment.
