Dept of Agriculture holds press briefing on 'abnormal' deaths of backyard-raised hogs

The Department of Agriculture assured the public that there is enough pork supply and that all meat in the market are safe. DA Spokesperson Noel Reyes told reporters that the department has ordered that pigs within a 1-kilometer radius of reported deaths are culled. Hogs within 7 kilometers are placed under surveillance, while those within 10 kilometers are required to immediately report unusual deaths.
