DAVID MOYES reckons Manchester City are so good they would have a chance of beating a fantasy line-up of the Premier League's best players. Pep Guardiola's men have won the last two league titles and got off to a flier this season with a 5-0 thrashing of West Ham on Saturday. And such is their dominance, the former Manchester United and Everton manager believes even an all-star XI from the other 19 teams may struggle against them. He told TalkSPORT: “I was trying to think the other day if you could make a Premier League team up from all the teams that could topple Man City to win the league, I think it would be very tough. "Even if you had a team that included all the top players in it.” A team made up on non-City players would naturally feature plenty of Liverpool players in defence. Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold all made the PFA Team of the Year in 2018/19 - although Aaron Wan-Bissaka is running the right-back close in this selection. Two Manchester United players do make it into our all-star backline though: David de Gea, edging Alisson Becker in goal, and Harry Maguire. Also on the list is Paul Pogba, who remains among the division's most talented midfielders despite his wavy form, and Spurs star Christian Eriksen. N'Golo Kante was also considered, and picked by Moyes, but we've gone with a more attacking set-up. Liverpool dominate the flanks with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane among the first names on the teamsheet. And yet Roberto Firmino misses out up top, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Harry Kane selected as our top strikers who didn't wear City's sky blue. Moyes' comments come after Jose Mourinho suggested City's B-team are more capable of winning the title this year than United, Chelsea or Arsenal. With Leroy Sane, Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo all absent from the starting XI that battered West Ham, he might have a point. Moyes also discussed reports he could gave signed Maguire for United while at Old Trafford in 2013/14. According to the Scot, 56, he "flagged him up" but had his reservations about the centre-back while he was still a youngster at Sheffield United. He said: "He played against Preston North End at home in a league game and I watched him and thought he played really well but at that time he was really big – he had a big a***. "You thought 'my goodness, how big is Harry going to be' because he was a relatively young boy at that time. "To be fair he looks in terrific shape and he hasn’t changed at all really. When I went to United, we had Vidic, Rio, Jonny Evans, Michael Keane, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling so for us to go and buy another young centre-half wasn’t the biggest thing we needed at the time. "And Harry Maguire has had to go on his journey. Sometimes the players need the journey to get to where they have to go. He might have struggled then." David Moyes revealed he scouted Harry Maguire as Manchester United boss but was put off a potential m
