Q: How old are you? A: I am 24 years old.
Q: Where are you from? A: I am from a tiny village in the south of the Netherlands, but I currently live in Scotland.
Q: What did you study in university? A: I did a bachelor’s degree in Education, specialising in teaching English as a foreign language, and a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Q: What do you use to film your videos? A: I currently use a Canon 550D camera, usually with a 50mm 1.8 lens for my sit-down videos, and the Canon Powershot S110 for my daily life vlogs.
Q: What do you use to edit your videos? A: I currently edit my videos using Sony Vegas Pro editing software (however, some videos are edited using iMovie too).

Hi there! My name is Laurie Robyn (shocking, I know) and when I as about twelve years old I discovered the world of YouTube. A whole new world opened up to me and I have never left since. After years of building up the courage, I finally decided that I wanted to create my own YouTube channel on which I could upload videos that would take you along on my journey throughout life.
I am an ordinary girl from the Netherlands who is obsessed with the United Kingdom and I have a great passion for too many things. After being a student at the University of Stirling, Scotland, for one full year, I decided to make the move and officially emigrate to the land of sexy accents and weird driving habits (yes!). On my YouTube channel I share videos on various topics that I find interesting: from student advice, beauty and lifestyle, to travel and daily life vlogs.
